  • John Griffin wants to do an experiment about what it's like to be black in the South during the 1950s-1960s. He talks to a doctor about what he can do to change his skin color.
  • Am i really willing to go through treatments just for an experiment?
  • John tells his family that he is leaving them for a while and going on with the experiment.
  • Why does he have to do this? Doesn't he know he's hurting his children and I?
  • John's first day on being black, he has experienced many different behaviors and feelings.
  • Maybe I shouldn't have done this. I miss my family and this isn't how I want to live.
  • John returns home after a long experiment and starts to work on his news article.
  • My family won't recognize me, but I've missed them so much.
  • John returns back to his original color after a while permanently and later gets his article published.
  • CONGRADULATIONS!
  • John and a black child talk about his experience and how he is treated around white people.
  • Not all white people treat us the same.
