My name is Sulamak. There are no schools near me so I don't get an education.
We are separated from the whites into our own communities while they live in gated communities.
We aren't allowed to be seen with whites, if we're caught with them, we'll be arrested and locked up but if we speak out we'll get arrested too. All because of apartheid.
To top it off, our rugby team won't allow any blacks on the team.
Thanks to Mandela, apartheid is over and both whites and blacks can be seen together. But many are still reluctant to do so.
They let the first black man on the rugby team! Such change for my country.
