  • We are the voters we have the least power.
  • We are the King and Queen, we have the most power.
  • I am the Governor, I have the second highest amount of power and I communicate with the council.
  • Upper Canada
  • I am representing the Council, we don't want change because then we will be losing power to the majority
  • I am the Governor, I don't want to change because I will be losing power.
  • I am representing the Assembly, we want the majority to have more say than the minority.
  • I am the Queen, if government changes it would be okay because the monarchy would always have the most say.
  • I am representing the voters we want to have more say so that the minority isn't making all the decisions.

  • Mackenzie was a rebellion. He was a lot less violent compared to Papineau. When he would plan rallies with the United States they would be very disorganized. The British also expected that the rallies were going to happen.
  • William Lyon Mackenzie
  • I am representing the Council, we don't want change because then we will be losing power to the majority
  • Papineau's rallies were usually unexpected and they were a lot more violent. During one of his rallies 3 men were shot. He organized rallies and protests although they slowed down once he exiled to the United States.
  • I am Mackenzie I want an elected democratic government that would benefit and cater to majority vote
