British officer and commander-in-chief Braddock was set out to sabotage the French Fort Duqesne. He decided to draft George Washington to aide him on this mission since he knew the wilderness country in which they would jourrney through.
Braddock's army sets foot into the forest ready to attack Fort Duquesne. Although, Braddock did not make it a priority to include Natives in his army as they only had seven.
The French understood they had no chance against the cannons and the fleet of the English. They fled the fort and planned an ambush on the English. Meanwhile, George Washington tries to warn Braddock of the different natures the French and Natives fight with, but was ultimately ignored.
The French and Natives sneak up on the British, and corner them in the woods. The British get in line to fight European story, but the French and Natives fight their own way. The Natives snipe from the trees and start to take command of the battle despite the British's muskets.
After rain continued to fall, the British could not fight off the gamed Native and French army and were soon defeated. With the French attacking up front and the natives sniping from within the trees, he British stood no chance. Both generals were killed (Braddock for the British and Beuujea for the French) , something not very typical for European wars.
George Washington is appointed as the new leader for Britain. After Braddock failed miserably, the nation hopes Washington will restore control, which he does to some extent.
