there were much more events that caused the American revolution so here is our third event.
In 1765, Great Britain enforced a law called the stamp act which required all colonists to pay taxes on any printed materials to Great Britain, these materials included, newspapers, magazines, and even playing cards.
The colonists were mad because they thought the British parliament should not tax them , the colonists believe the only people that should tax them is their own legislature. some colonists were so mad they even attacked some of the British stamp agents.
The sugar act will be our last cause of the American revolution, it started in 1764 where British colonies were taxed on sugar and they also had to pay tax for the seven year war which was the French and Indian war, it also decreased taxes on Molasses.
The colonists were upset about the taxes they had to pay but they were even more upset that the King and the parliament had taxed the colonies without their permission and the colonists were not allowed to send people or Representative to speak for their right.
in conclusion all these tragic events caused the American revolution which lasted for 8 years it was very unfortunate to see these terrible actions that happened in the past.
