  • The Hamartia (flaw) is the misguidance Hamlet makes for himself. Too many bad things happen before he believes the ghost.

  • The peripeteia was when Claudius dies from the poison he has been giving to everyone else.

  • Laertes tells Hamlet it was Claudius' plan to poison him not the Mom.

  • Hamlet was too concerned about madness and scheming to realize Ophelia, the girl he loved, was falling apart.
