Lexington April 19 , 1775
April 19, 1775. British send about 700 troops to go and trap the Patriots Leaders.The redcoats arrive at Lexington. As the redcoats arrive at Lexington they encounter 77 minutemen waiting for them on the town's common green. All of the men were armed.
The RedCoats arrive
Both the minutemen and the Redcoats did not fire until either fired at each other. The Redcoats believed that they have outnumbered the Minutemen They knew they could win the minutemen.This kept going on for a long time. None of the groups disobeyed the rule. In one moment a group was about to leave until........

suddenly, smoke from the muskets appeared everywhere.
After the Battle of Lexington had ended,eight Americans lay dead or dying and 10 others were wounded. Only one British soldier was injured. The militia (the minutemen) back down, there army was outnumbered. The shot was unknown of who shot it. This was called," The shot heard 'round the world." The shot was believed to be the beginning of The Revolutionary War.
