Hello my name is Mr.Dna and i'm going to teach you about two different things i've gone through
The first thing I went through was called transcription basically I was split and half and something called the rna polymerase reads every nucleotide that I have and creates an exact copy that's only half of me called the "mrna" which is half a strand
In conclusion the mrna is small enough to leave the nucleus as the dna couldn't and the mrna helps to start the process of translation
During translation the mRNA travels to the ribosome and it starts when a translation molecule aka the tRNA attaches itself to the mRNA the tRNA then continues to translate each nucleiod into an amino acid
After the amino acid chain is formed it folds into a protein which will then move to another cell to do a certain job
It went well for me but small mistakes can mess up the whole process. If the tRNA reads a single nucleotoid incorrectly it can mess up the protein which will still go to its position and not be able to do its job correctly and if a mistake happens while making the mRNA the same thing could happen
