In this scene, Tituba is dancing in the woods worshiping the devil. The devil is telling her to kill Mr. Parris but she refused. She later then denies worshiping the devil.
This scene is about Abigail blaming Tituba for making her and Betty dance in the woods, worship the devil and drink the blood. Abigail is feelings guilty.
Proctor is fed up with the town. He is looking forward to Mr. Hale coming to save the town and do something about this talk of 'witchcraft.' He hopes Mr. Hale will leve some of his sense in Salem.
