Storyboard Text

  • Billy, a seventeen year-old had traveled to the town of Bath and was looking for a place to stay.
  • Billy decided on a little home because of a notice that caught his eye stating, "BED AND BREAKFAST."
  • Even though the house seemed welcoming the landlady seemed a bit different. As she walked him upstairs and showed him his room.
  • Once Billy unpacks his things, he has a very uneasy conversation with the landlady.
  • The conversation slows down and Billy declines another tea. This is when he asks one more question.
  • Billy asks, "Excuse my asking, but haven’t there been any other guests here except them in the last two or three years?” The landlady responses with, "No my dear, only you." And leaves the reader to infer the rest.
