King Henry wanted divorce with Catherine of Aragon because she wasn't producing a male child to take over all Henrys positions and to be a heir of Henry
King Henry viii needed a male child to take over everything he owned or was entitled to, so he divorced or had executed 5 wives because they were not giving him a male child
Henry was not allowed to divorce Catherine of Aragon according to the Catholic Church so he split from the Church and started his own Church called Church of England that aloud him to divorce Catherine and re marry
Archbishop Thomas Cranmer began changes so Church of England was a religion for the majority not just for Henry and his needs for divorce
During Henrys life he had 6 wives, Catherine Parr, Catherine Howard, Anne of Cleve's, Jane Seymour, Anne Boleyn and Catherine of Argon.
King Henry was born in 1491 and lived to 1547 during his life her had six wives, he also broke from the catholic church because he was not allowed to divorce Catherine of Argon so he split from the Church and started his own Church called Church of England. soon after he died Archbishop Thomas Cranmer made Church of England more reliable and appealing to others in the society
