  • From the African Americans view or perspective the 13th amendment was great for them and they could have great life's.
  • The North saw this as great opportunity for more people to increase production.

  • The south saw this as a way of the African American to overtake them and take control the south did not want this.
  • Significance
  • The significance was that the 13th amendment really did not help that much due to the Jim Crow laws and Black codes.
