Storyboard Text

  • I love the sunny weather today
  • I know right!
  • The weather changed so suddenly!
  • Too bad It looks like it's going to rain...
  • What are we going to do?!
  • I know, lets meet our family in our designated meeting spot.
  • Remember the thunderstorm on March 26th, 1987 in Cape Canaveral, Florida?
  • Yes, it could have hurt many people, I'm so happy it didn't. It landed in the Atlantic ocean.
  • The only thing it harmed was an unmanned Atlas Centaur rocket that had been launched , and hit by lightning nine times! It had an $83 million Pentagon satellite!
  • We need to get out of here! We have to get to shelter!
  • Come on! Let's get home to our designated spot with the rest of our family!
  • This reminds me of the time we learned about how thunderstorms were formed in class.
  • They consist of unstable air, moisture, and lift.
  • Oh yah! They are formed by a cumulonimbus cloud, and they usually produce heavy rains, gusty winds, and occasional hail.
