Storyboard Text

  • Survival of the fittest by David Sparks
  • Once there were two camels in the desert. One had a bigger hump and the other had a smaller one. These variations, or a difference between animals, can either be beneficial or not.
  • Survival of the fittest by David Sparks
  • The camels couldn't find any food to eat, and after a long time, the camel with the small hump died, because he ran out of food and nutrition. The camel that died has made its species extinct, or gone forever. This process is called natural selection, which powers evolution. Evolution is the gradual change in a species.
  • Survival of the fittest by David Sparks
  • Then the camel passed on his genes to his offspring, and then they passed on their genes, and so on. If one animal in a species has a certain adaptation (the process of adapting) that is fit to its environment, that animal will not die.
