Connotation: Dickinson used personification while describing Death. Death is not a person and cannot act like one.
Attitude: Throughout the story, the speaker keeps a positive tone throughout her "date" with Death. Ex- "For His Civility"
Shift- She goes from being comfortable with the temperature to chilly due to the cold Ex- "The Dews only Gossamer, my Gown"
Title- A girl who tries to avoid Death is visited by him
Theme-Everyone succumbs to death eventually but it doesn't have to be horrible.
