  • Today you all will be going on a mission to plant a bomb on our own railway near the Chinese border. Good luck!
  • We have concealed it. Let's leave!
  • 1931, in a Japanese Army Base in Northern Korea, some Japanese soldiers are sent to plant a bomb on their own railway, near the Chinese border. 
  • It looks like a bomb has exploded on the Japanese side of the border. They must have accidentally set it off. 
  • Hehehe. More land for us!
  • It looks like our train has been bombed. WAR ON CHINA!   
  • The Japanese troops drop a bomb near the railway, which happens to be on the Sino-Japanese border. 
  • We declare war!
  • Japanese Korea
  • The bomb explodes and wrecks a Japanese train. People die and get wounded. 
  • The Chinese and Japanese governments see this event happen. The Japanese government is "enraged". 
  • Beijing, China
  • Tokyo, Japan
  • The Japanese army declares war on China for "killing their countrymen and bombing their land". 
  • News Television
  • Japanese troops cross the Chinese border and take over Manchuria. This event will eventually lead to Sino-Japanese tensions worsening until the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937.
