  • In the story, Jack and the Beanstalk, there lived a widow mother and her son Jack. They lived on a very poor farm.
  • Climax
  • Jack has to go to town to sell his cow Bessy for money, the money they get from their cow is gonna get spent on seeds for their spring garden.
  • Falling Action
  • When Jack reaches town , he finds a mysterious man that offers to trade 3 magic beans, for Jacks worn cow Bessy.
  • Resolution
  • When Jack had gotten home from town he showed his mother the three magic beans. Jacks mother had gotten very angry she threw all three of the beans out the window and sent jack to bed crying.
  • When jack had woken up the next day, he saw a very big beanstalk out his window, so he got dressed and climbed it all the way to the top using leaves and vines. When he reached the top he came upon a castle. He had gotten captured by a lady giant. When Jack escaped he decided to take a hen with him. Making a male giant very very angry.
  • In the end, Jack his mother, and the hen make it out by chopping the beanstalk down with Jacks axe. So the hen thanked Jack and they all lived happily ever after because of the hens golden eggs.
