  • Chapter 1 the Rabbits
  • Do i get to tend the Rabbits George?
  • Chapter 1
  • Remember if you get in trouble you come right back here and hide in that brush.
  • Chapter 2
  • Whats up with these beds? Why is there a bed bug repellent.
  • Symbolism: The rabbits are symbols of Lennieś dream. He is constanly afraid of getting into trouble and having George not allow him to fulfill his dream of tending the rabbits.
  • Ch. 2
  • Let the boy talk him self. He don't need you to speak for him.
  • Foreshadowing: When George tells Lennie to hide in the brush if he gets in trouble he is telling the readers whats going to happen in the future. Lennie is constanly getting in trouble and George always has to get him out of it so he made a plan for when he does.
  • Ch. 3
  • You need to stop talking for him because he is a grown man and he don't need you to speak for him.
  • George and Lennie just got to the farm and they are getting their room but Gorge is making a big fuss over his bed.
  • Ch. 3
  • Curly aint here
  • George kept talking for Lennie and that made the boss mad and the boss thought that George was trying to get Lennie to work so George can take it.
  • Curly is yelling at George because he was talking for Lennie and Curly didn't like that so he yelled at George.
  • Curly's wife is looking for him but she is flirting with George and Lennie in a way.
