Jesus and his fellow disciples meet the blind man. His disciples ask to Jesus, “Who sinned for this man to be born blind”. Jesus replies with “No one has sinned for this man”.
Shortly after, Jesus spits into the dirt to create mud. Jesus then rubs the mud into the blind man’s eyes. He goes and tells to the blind man to wash his eyes in the Pool of Siloam. Once he did this, the man came home seeing.
The Pharisees summon the blind man. They question the blind man and ask of him whom had healed the “sinner”. The man describes of Jesus as a prophet because he does not know him. The Pharisees do not believe in the assumptions of the blind man. They call on the blind man’s parents, whom which do not want to get put out of the synagogue say that he was born blind and say to the Pharisees “he is of age; ask him”.
When Jesus had found out that they had thrown out the blind man, he traveled to the blind man. Jesus then introduced him to the Son of Man, welcoming him to the Lord.
