Unique Important Moment
As Mayella is on the stand, Atticus is asking her a series of high questions. He asks her if Tom hit her in the face and gave her a black right eye and she confirms that he did. After this, Atticus has Tom stand up. Once he stands up, everyone sees that his left arm is crippled so he couldn't have been the one to hit her, blackening her right eye.
I feel as if this is an important moment because it shows how not all black people are bad and everyone has some good in them. Just because Tom Robinson is black doesn't mean that he deserves to be treated unfairly throughout the whole trial.
