Storyboard Text

  • Why is parliament doing this!
  • Parliament is not letting us change our government!
  • This is absurd!
  • For stealing a loaf of breed you are sentenced 5 years of prison.
  • But that's not fair.
  • Why are the colonists resisting me?!
  • "Such has been the patient sufferance of these colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former systems of government. The history of the present king of great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute tyranny over these states."
  • Excellent idea!
  • Agreed!
  • We must change this government!
  • "He has made judges dependent on his will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries."
  • I will be controlling all judges!
  • "Nor have we been wanting in attentions to our British brethren. We have warned them for time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us. We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here."
  • Yeah, and the king isnt very happy with all the complaints. From the colonists.
  • I'm starting to get tired from sailing back and forth from the colonies to britain
  • The colonists have suffered way to much, now they must change the government to keep an absolute tyranny from taking their freedom and rights away from them.
  • Because of King George III he now controls how much money the judges make, and how much time they spend in office. Because King George can control how much money the judges make this can change the way the judges usually look at the decision making process of court.
  • Time and time again, the colonists have tried to warn the British Crown of all the unfair taxes and laws that have been imposed on them. It is also not fair that the colonists are being controlled by the British crown when they are seperated by an ocean.
