Most People in Italy belong to the Roman Catholic Church. It is the strongest influence on Italian culture. This influence is strong in part because the pope, the spiritual head of the Roman Catolic Church, lives on the Italian Pensiuala.
In Addition to religion, local traditions have influenced Italian Culture. Italian food, for example, varies widely form region to region. In the South,people often serve tomato sauces. In the North, creamy sauces and much more in common. It also reflects its past by its art.
