Storyboard Text

  • In the Castle....
  • I am one, my liege, whom the vile blows of the world hath so incensed that I am reckless what I do to spite the world.
  • Know that it was Banquo in the times past which held you so under fortune, which you thought had been your innocent self.  Are you so gospelled, to pray for this good man, and for his issue?
  • And I another!
  • And I another!
  • Later that night, in the woods...
  • Listen, I hear horses..
  • It's Banquo!  He's dismounted....
  • Fly, good Fleance, fly!  Though mayst revenge!
  • There's but one down; the son is fled.
  • Best half of our affair.
  • Back at the castle...
  • Fleance is 'scaped...
  • You know your own degrees, sit down: at first and last the hearty welcome.
  • Pronounce it for me, for my heart speaks they are welcome.
  • Gentlemen, rise, his highness is not well.
  • Banquo!  If our graves must send those that we bury back, our monuments shall be the maws of kites!  Now the dead rise again...this is more strange than such a murder is!
  • Avaunt, and quit my sight!
  • I hear it by the way; but I will send.  I will to-morrow, to the Weird Sisters: More shall they speak; for now I am bent to know.
  • How say'st thou, that Macduff denies his person at our great bidding?
  • You lack the season of all natures, sleep.
  • Did you send to him, sir?
