Storyboard Text

  • After they ventured a little farther they came across they came across the great man-bear, Beorn. He let them stay for a while and he replenished their supplies.
  • "'Who are you and what do you want?"' (Tolkien110).
  • "'Never heard of him"' (Tolkien111).
  • "'And what's this little fellow?"' (Tolkien111).
  • "'I am Gandalf"' (Tolkien111).
  • "'That is Mr. Baggins..."' (Tolkien).
  • After a few days they left Beorn and went to the Mirkwood forest. Once they got to the forest Gandalf had to leave and they had to journey on by themselves.
  • "Then they knew Gandalf was going to leave the at the very edge of Mirkwood"
  • "'We may meet again before all is over, and then again of course we may not"' (Tolkien127).
  • They were running low on supplies when they saw a bright light a little off the path so all of them went to check it out, but when they showed themselves all the lights turned off and all the elves they saw vanished. they later fell asleep.
  • Bilbo woke up and saw that spiders were wrapping his friends in webs that was when he sprung in action and woke everyone up and fought the spiders and ran away from them, but Thorin was missing. Dazed and poisoned they fell unconscious.
  • When they woke up a group of elves captured them, but Bilbo put on his ring and followed them. The elves took them to their kindom and they were put in jail cells, and they learned Thorin was also there. They had to escape.
  • "Oh No!!!"
  • Bilbo made a raft out of barrels and helped them escape and the barrels went to the lake town which was close to their destination. They floated for a long time. They eventually reached the town.
  • SPLASH!!!
  • "Good Job, Bilbo!!!"
