  • There was no sand in the hole, which meant that this distraction caused Phineas' tamping iron to slam into a pile of pure gunpowder!
  • I just had a 3-and-a-half foot pole blasted through my head. Wanna see my brain?
  • Unfortunately, this accident broke Phineas' brain, then he turned into a real jerk throughout the years.
  • Of course, you can't live with a broken brain forever. The tragic accident took his life on May 21, 1860 in the form of 5-minute seizure. He goes down in histry as the one who survived the impossible.
