Derek and the Diet Coke Man
This storyboard does not have a description.
I need something with caffeine pronto!!! How about a Diet Coke!
This Diet Coke sure looks good, but I think I should be drinking more water!
Our Character, Derek is in love with Diet Caffeine and was triggered to get one because of a headache from withdrawal.
I think I might need another Diet Coke.
Derek is beginning to realize he needs to make changes to behavior, but isn't sure what to do next other than drink water.
This water bottle will do the trick.
While at the Barber Derek's friend, Travis, mentions that he should create a SMART Goal. So Derek creates a SMART goal to stop drinking so much caffeine. He decided for his SMART goal to limit his Diet Coke intake to 1 can a day.
Derek stays disciplined for the first week, but then his biggest trigger comes while at the mall. He feels stress and it causes him to think about having more than one Diet Coke for the day.
However, Derek planned for this moment in his SMART Goals by when he felt triggered to drink more than one diet coke a day, he would count to 10 and relax and then buy a water instead.
Derek is buying only water after meeting his goal of only one Diet Coke a day for a couple weeks. Now his next small goal is only one Diet Coke a week.
