  • "The Tell Tale Heart"
  • Exposition: The narrator is a crazy man, but he doesn't think he is crazy and he has a problem with the old mans eye, which is weird and creepy. The narrator thinks that hes normal.
  • Exposition
  • "I AM NOT CRAZY RIGHT? YES IM NOT CRAZY!"
  • Rising Action: The narrator feels like the old mans "Evil Eye" is haunting him and the only way it won't is if he kills him so he's waiting for the old mans eye to be closed so he can finally kill him.
  • Rising Action
  • "Finally he's sleeping, I can now make my move!"
  • Climax: Finally the old mans eye is closed so the narrator can finally kill him, he goes to his bed to see his eyes are closed and kills him. Now that the "Evil Eye" doesn't haunt him anymore. He feels that he is free.

  • "AHHHH YESS GOODBYE EVIL EYE!!"
  • Falling Action: The narrator hides the old mans body part under the floor boards. He hides them individually so nobody will find him and finally he will be free.

  • "Wow now I feel relieved and won't have to worry about anything."
  • Resolution: The officers came to the house. They were concerned because the neighbors said they heard a loud scream. He invites them into the house and lets them search around and they found nothing, but the narrator starts to feel guilty and nervous and he hears the old mans heart beating in his head because of the guilt rushing toward him and he couldn't handle the guilt so he confessed.

  • "I'M SORRY BUT I DIDN'T WANT TO I DIDN'T MEAN TO I DIDN'T WANT TO I JUST COULDN'T STAND HIS EYE, I KILLED HIM"
