  • DIE!!!
  • Things like barbed wire and machines guns and trenches had turned warfare into a process in which the defense had a huge advantage. Tanks changed that. They were able to drive over all sorts of terrain, including trenches and they were able to smash barbed wire.
  • Poison Gas
  • A flamethrower is a portable device designed to project a long, stream of fire. Some flamethrowers project a stream of lit flammable gas, while some project a long gas flame.
  • Submarines
  • No we are not!
  • The machine gun dominated the battlefields of World War One. Machine guns were heavy. Each gun weighed somewhere in between the 30kg-60kg range, even without their mountings or supplies.
  • Airplanes
  • Fire!!!
  • Poison gas was probably the most feared of all weapons in World War One. Poison gas was an indiscriminate killer and could be used on the trenches even when no attack was going on. A poison gas attack meant soldiers having to put on gas masks and if these were unsuccessful, an attack could leave a victim in pain for days and weeks before he finally died because of his injuries.
  • Breathe in this!!!!!
  • Submarines were used to destroy ships without being detected and destroy enemy submarines. They were a good way to be able to destroy and not get destroyed.
  • Are you an enemy?
  • Airplanes were first used without any weapons but after awhile they started adding weapons to the planes and that made them hard to shoot without being shot.
  • Die!
