The Story of Con rồng cháu tiên

The story starts talking about a prince named Lạc Long Quân, believed to have been a descendent of dragons who loved to be near the coast.
A king ,Đế Lai, of a northern tribe took his daughter on a trip to the south, Đế Lai, saw what Lạc Long Quân could do and gave him his daughter's hand in marriage. Âu Cơ became pregnant and gave birth to a membranous sac.
Even though he had a family he missed the coast and visited his mother frequently,Âu Cơ was very unhappy about this. He told her that I am from the dragon line, I like to be near the coast, you are from the fairy line you like to be in the highlands. Then they seperated, one taking 50 children to the coast and the other taking 50 to the highlands.
Lạc Long Quân took his 50 children to the coast and taught them how to fish and about agriculture. He also taught them about the art of tattoos and how when diving the tattoos can be used to scare away marine animals.
Âu Cơ took her 50 children up to the highlands where the learned how to breed animals and worked the land to grow fruit tress for food they built their homes on trees to stay safe from wild animals.
Even though they are separated Lạc Long Quân stated "Despite the distance and separation, we must listen for one another and lend a hand to one another when needed. We must never let our bond be broken"
