Malcolm's army hiding in the woods using tree branches as cover. This is when fights and war start. Its a bad time. Malcolm is finally going through with his plan and attack Macbeth. This is kind of the beginning of the war and is important because Malcolm is using a foreign army against Macbeth, the leader.
Macbeth dies. This is important because he was the king but since he became king nobody liked him and now he is dead and gone. Also he was the main character. Scene 8 Macbeth is finally slain, but first, Siward had challenged him to a sword fight and gets killed, then Macduff kills him. This also shows that the witches prediction was accurate that Macbeth killed many people to become king and then ended up dying not too long after
Scene one is important because Lady Macbeth has been sleepwalking and is in a trance or something and sees blood on her hands and wont ever be able to get it off do to the people she has killed. Shows she is feeling guilty for everything even after her little rant of wanting Macbeth to be king oh so bad.
