He strongly believed that it was possible to send long distance radio waves across the Atlantic Ocean.
I will send a kite into the Atlantic and transmit a radio signal to be heard all the way in England!
He successfully launched the kite to send radio communications to England.

Thereafter, Guglielmo Marconi was honoured and known for his advances in radio communications. He received a Nobel prize for physics and today he has many places named after him.
