Our Therapeutic Cerebral Palsy Toy
It was made by myself, Jackson M., Ethan S., and Brandon M.
It consisted of a large tree with three holes in the leaves of the tree. Six monkeys would hang upon this tree, and you would place the monkeys inside the holes.
The intent of creating this toy was to provide a therapeutic, colorful plaything for children with cerebral palsy to use to build up the ability to move their wrists, arms, and joints more easily.
It was made out of cardboard, hot glue, and colored paper.
The tree had a 5x5x.5 inch base, and was 12 inches tall in total.
In conclusion, our project was a success.
While we did find difficulty in creating monkeys and creating a functional hinge, our toy fit the requirements and could help children with CP.
