  • ROMEO AND JULIET: ACT 3, SCENE 3
  • "Beg pardon of the Prince, and call thee back With twenty hundred thousand times more joy Than thou went’st forth in lamentation."
  • "Monday! Ha, ha. Well, Wednesday is too soon, O' Thursday let it be.—O' Thursday, tell her, She shall be married to this noble earl."
  • In Scene 1, Tybalt slays Romeo's beloved friend, Mercutio. Benvolio watches as Romeo gets revenge for his friends death, by killing Tybalt. Benvolio tells Romeo that he will now be banished, even though if he did not kill Tybalt, Tybalt would have killed him.
  • ROMEO AND JULIET: ACT 3, SCENE 4
  • Juliet is devastated, because she thinks that Romeo has died. She finds out her cousin Tybalt has been killed by Romeo, which saddens her a little bit, but she is immensely hurt, when she finds out her new husband is now banished, because he killed Tybalt. The Nurse deals with Juliet's drama by drinking.
  • ROMEO AND JULIET: ACT 3, SCENE 5
  • "Then, since the case so stands as now it doth, I think it best you married with the county. Oh, he’s a lovely gentleman."
  • Romeo is hiding at Friar Lawrence's house and he is very depressed. Friar tells him to not be worried, for he has a plan so he can see Juliet again. He says that Romeo should exit to a near by town and he will find a way to get the Prince to allow him to come back to Verona.
  • Juliet is still very depressed. Lord Capulet thinks she is depressed over Tybalt's death and he thinks that he will make her happy by doing her a favor and asking Paris to Marry her this Thursday. This makes Juliet very mad, because she is depressed over Romeo and marrying Paris is the last thing she wants to do.
  • Juliet confesses that she loves Romeo, the enemy, and that she does not want to marry Paris. Lord Capulet is enraged and tells her she either marries Paris, or she's put on the street, and Lady Capulet agrees. Juliet then goes to the person who is always on her sides, the nurse, and even she disagrees with Juliet, so Juliet storms off to talk to Friar Lawrence.
