  • NiHao. I'm Ben Stevenson
  • Li is working in the fields collecting dried yams for his family. Dried yams tasted  horrible but were the only sustainable food Li's family could afford.
  • CLIMAX
  • I don't believe you! I'm not going back to China!
  • You should go back to China Cunxin! Your friends have already left, there is nowhere for you to go!
  • Li is crying in bed after he arrived at The Beijing Dance Academy. He misses his family and is scared and wants to go home.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • I'm moving to San Fransisco.
  • Goodbye Liz...
  • Li flies to America to learn more ballet. The head of the Houston Ballet Department, Ben Stevenson greets him at the airport.
  • RESOLUTION
  •  The chinese government want him to go back to China but Li refuses to go back. Li has married Elizabeth in hopes of legally staying in America but the consulate holds Li hostage until he goes back to China.
  • Li becomes a famous ballet dancer. Li and Elizabeth have hard times understanding each other and Elizabeth.  She wants to move to San Fransisco and get a job while Li needs to stay in Houston to work. They decide to divorce and go their seperate ways.
  • Li marries Mary after divorcing with Elizabeth. They move to Queensland in Australia and have 2 children. Li becomes the artistic director of Queensland Ballet.
