Wait for me by the mosque on the corner.
Ayesha was a normal 10 year old girl in Lebanon until one day her house in Beruit was bombed. Ayesha's Mum told her, her brothers and Granny to wait for her by the mosque on the corner. They never saw Mum again.
They were currently homeless, then all of a sudden Latiff found a flat. It felt like a miracle. They met a loving family that were homeless as well. The Zainab's moved in the flat as well, along with other refugees.
Are you deaf?
Granny starts to get sick, she knew her time would be up soon but didn't want to admit it. Ayesha starts to get worried, she dosent want to lose Granny as well. Granny's medicine that Dr Leila gave her ages ago was soon to run out.
Whats the matter with you.
Ayesha desperately wanted to help Granny, so she shares her plan with Samar to past the green line and then go to Dr Leila's office. She knew it was risky but didn't want to lose Granny
Ayesha waited for the perfect time to sneak off. She ran into two strange men, they kept asking questions she didn't want to answer. She was just standing there the asked if she was deaf, so she then pretended to be deaf.
Ayeha sat down and started balling and doubting if she will be able to get the medicine for granny. All of a sudden a boy comes up to her and asks "the matter with you " she replied with:"nothing". The boy gave her a orange, she then told him about trying to find Dr Leila and if he's ever heard of her. Unfortunatly he didnt. He then walked back to his Dad.
