  • Students drop out for many reasons...but most cite the number one reason is not having a personal relationship with a caring adult. (4:40)
  • How: It shows how she had to give up her school life for her family. Why: This is shows that not only did she she need to take care of her grandparents, she wanted to.
  • How: By looking at the statistic it states a true fact Why: She lost her sophomore year of education which would help her strengthen a career path because money is an issue.
  • How: The counselor is making the slideshow in order to help educate other people about having a responsible adult to care for the students. Why: It was important for Summer to have her grandma to support her through her school life.
