  • Events of the War- The British Attack Washington DC
  • Events of the War- The British Attack Baltimore
  • Great Britain's Navy begins to kidnap American sailors and force them to work on British ships through a new British policy.
  • Events of the War- The Battle of New Orleans
  • Rumor has it that the war was already over. Did we just fight for nothing?
  • The British invade Washington DC and burn many buildings including the white house, where Dolly Madison saves many paintings and documents, including a painting of George Washington.
  • Results of the War-ECONOMIC
  • The British attack Fort McHenry after ending its hold on Washington DC. The Americans fighting at the first put up a massive American Flag inspiring Francis Scott Key to write the poem "The Star-Spangled Banner,"
  • Results of the War- SOCIAL "Era of Good Feelings"
  • The war is officially over, but fighting continues in New Orleans until they receive the news. In the Battle of New Orleans, Andrew Jackson led American troops to a Victory in a landslide. This war sparked the "Era of Good Feelings," And helped Madison win the presidency in 1828.
  • Who cares! We won! We're awesome!
  • The war helped America convert to a bigger industrial economy.
  • Americans felt more patriotic and happy to be living in America than ever.
