Storyboard Text

  • Before the Gods were born, Heaven and Earth were formed first. The Earth and Heaven were parents, the titans were the children, and the gods were the grand kids.
  • The Titans had incredible size and strength among mortals. The most important titan was Cronus until his son Zeus, dethroned him and took the power for himself. Cronus fled to Italy and brought the Golden Age with him. The Golden Age was a time of perfect peace and happiness, that all ended once Cronus left.
  • All of the other titans were not banished when Zeus came but instead took a lower place below the gods.
  • The twelve Olympians, successors to the titans took over for the Titans. They were called Olympians because they stay at Olympus. Olympus was supposedly on top of a mountain.
  • Even though these three don't all live a Olympus, Poseidon, Hades, and Zeus are all common and the leaders of the gods. Poseidon is the ruler of the sea, Hades is the ruler of the dead, and Zeus is the ruler of the sky.
  • The gods feast on ambrosia and nectar and is said to listen to Apollo's music. No wind, snow, or rain ever falls at Olympus, only cloudless skies all around. The twelve Olympians made up a powerful family.
