Storyboard Text

  • "May comb was an old town but is tired old town when i first knew it", Inr ainy weather the streets turned to red slope". Page 6
  • "Your father doesn't know how to teach you, you may sit down now". pg 22
  • "My father hasnt taught me anything Miss Caroline". pg 23
  • "You folks be better than cunninghams but it dont count for nothing , the way you disgracing em". pg 33
  • "Hes not company hes a cunningham", pg 33
  • This part was when Scout was starting to describe May comb which is her hometown. After that Scout started to explain what her parents did for a living.  After that Scout then starts explaining about  Boo and Dill.
  • "The tire hit the gravel and rolled all the way to the Radley's lawn". pg 38
  • Miss Caroline is telling Scout that she learned to write from her father and Scout is trying to explain to Miss Caroline that she taught herself by reading books independently but Miss Caroline does not listen and gets frustrated.
  • "Jem would jab the note on the window sill.  Jem was patiently waiting to put it on the sill". PG 49 Jem was trying to contact Boo since he never comes outside.
  • This is when Walter Cunningham came over to eat and Scout Judged him on the way he eats because he drenched his dinner in syrup. Calpurnia the cook or nanny yelled at Scout for trying to show who had more money since Walter was poorer and Calpurnia was not happy with Scout.
  • "Help as Mr. Avery had slipped and falled into a huge shrub". "Mr. Avery,, screamed across the street yelling at the two girls".- Pg 72
  • Scout was rolling in the tire and it eventually landed on Radley's yard.
  • Jem was trying to place a note on the window sill and try to slip it into the Radley house.  Jem and Dill get Scout to help the slip the note in  because the wanna know why Boo is never outside.
  • "He swung his legs over the railing and was sliding down a pillar when he slipped. He fell, yelled, and hit Miss Maudie’s shrubbery". Page 72  This shows that Mr. Avery is a grumpy old man and deserved to fall when he screamed at the girls.
