My scenario takes place in a city. Mayor Beckett had heard reports of a virus that is fast spreading and turns people into zombies. He is concerned for the safety of his city. No one else in the surrounding cities and states believe this is possible but he isn't taking any chances. He quickly acts and has a huge wall constructed around his city to protect his people. He also calls for troops to be sent in to maintain order and be another protective measure between the city and the zombies. He urges people to go home, secure their homes by boarding up windows and doors. He also urged people to gather provisions and stay indoors until further notice. Will the steps Mayor Beckett has taken protect his city? Will he survive? How effective is this plan according to Darwin's principles of natural selection?

What about sending in troops for protection?
Go home and stay indoors!
Reports have said there is a virus that is spreading and creating zombies. I'm building a wall to keep zombies out.
I hope everyone is ok. I am staying in my bunker until I know it is safe. The wall should protect us . We also have the army.
They think they are safe.
Are they really?
