Storyboard Text

  • Exposition
  • Conflict
  • Rising Action
  • Donovan and Elian are walking down the street to get to the store because they want chips and soda. Donovan is the one in the red sweater, he's 15 years old and Elian is the one in the blue sweater and he's 15 years old as well. They're walking down a street with houses that have lots of dogs. They don't like to walk by this street because of all the dogs.
  • Climax
  • Donovan hears someone or something coming around the corner. At first, they thought it was someone jogging. Elian told Donovan if it was a person, but he said He didn't see anyone jogging when they took the corner. Donovan turns around and sees the biggest, the toughest looking dog he has ever seen.
  • Falling Action
  • The dog looked straight at us with a dead stare, and we stared at it with fear. Shakingly Elian yelled "RUN!" We ran as fast as we could down the street, other dogs barking as we ran past their house, and the dog chasing us running as fast as it could.
  • Resolution
  • Elian saw a red truck parked by the sidewalk and he yelled, " Quickly run on top of that truck." Elian and Donovan jumped and got on top of the roof of the truck. The dog chasing behind us ran towards the truck but not able to get on top. Elian and I were relieved we escaped the dog without getting attacked or bitten. The dog still trying to get on top of the truck, we see someone walking towards us.
  • They were relieved that the person walking towards us was the owner of the fierce dog.  He apologized to them and asked, "Are you guys okay? Did he bit you?" They replied, " Yeah we're okay." They started talking about what happened. The dog owner said, "I saw when my dog ran out the house, I ran after him but didn't see where he ran. I went around the whole neighbor looking for him.
