  • The Carbon Cycle
  • Where Does Carbon Come From?
  • (ATP ENERGY)
  • Processes Included In The Carbon Cycle
  • Carbon Is In Virtually Everything.  From Fuel To Food, Carbon Is A Very Important Element In Our Daily Lives.
  • More Processes
  • Carbon Can Be Found In Fossil Fuels: Animal Bones That Have Been Underground For A Long Time Until They Can Be Used As Gas.  Carbon Can Also Be Found In The Deep ANd Shallow Parts Of The Ocean.  Plants And Animals Also Have Carbon, ANd Animals Eat Plants To Convert The Carbon Into Food Energy (ATP) Most Carbon Is In The Atmosphere, Though.
  • Decomposition
  • Respiration Is A Process Included In The Carbon Cycle.  Respiration Is When An Animal Breathes In And Out, Inhaling Oxygen, And Exhaling Carbon Dioxide.  (This Is What The Cow Is Doing)  Photosynthesis Is A Process Where Plants Use Sunlight To Synthesize Food From Water.  Also, Most Plants Are Green Because Of This Act, And The Green Is Because Of Chlorophyll.  (This Is What The Plant Is Doing.
  •
  • Factories Burn Fossil Fuels To Make Other Items.  This Is Called Combustion.  Combustion Isn't Good For The Earth And Contributes To Global Warming.  Also, Another Process Is Called Dissolving, Which Happens When CO2 Combines With Water.
  • When Animals Die, Soon They Begin To Decay.  Their Bodies Would Be Eaten By Other Animals Or Organisms And Will Soon Become Bone.  If Not Eaten, The Body Will Just Begin To Rot, And The Remaining Carbon In The Animal's Body Will Be Sent Up To The Atmosphere.
  • All Carbon, At Some Point, Makes It Back Up To The Atmosphere.  Most Of Carbon On Earth Is In The Atmosphere As Well.  The Atmosphere Serves As A Reservoir, Which Will Hold The Carbon.
