"Lob!",Exclaimed sandy and then fell back a sleep. Sandy's parents came over with tears of joy. "Thank you', cried her mother. Lob licked both of their faces happily. "He knew she was here", said Granny Pearce. Lob went over and sat by Sandy's bed starring up at her. He had some cuts and was limping on one leg, but he would be okay and so would Sandy.
That night, Lob was aloud to sleep by Sandy's hospital bed. He hardly slept and was alert, his ears pricked all night. Lob was very weary from his long walk and was soaking wet. When the truck came hurdling down the hill it swerved just missing him, hitting Sandy. He then fell into the creek and got washed away. Then he set off to find his girl. He looked up at Sandy, then fell asleep.
The next morning Lob woke up earlier before anyone else. He looked up at Sandy, she was still asleep. Lob whined. Sandy's eyes opened a little bit. "Oh Lob", exclaimed Sandy. "You really are the best dog ever." In a week Sandy went home. She went back to the doctor every week, and was aloud to bring Lob. Sandy was eventually ok. Lob never left Sandy's side. Sandy was Lob's girl.
