  • Homes in Mohenjo-daro
  • Toilets,Shower rooms, and Sanitation
  • Mohenjo-Daro existed about 5000 years ago near Northern India. Mohenjo-Daro was located along the banks of the river that begins by the himalayan mountains.
  • Use of seals
  • The homes in Mohenjo-Daro had flat roofs.They were so flat that you could see your friend from across the street. Some people in Mohenjo-Daro spent more time on there roofs than the inside of there homes.
  • The Great Bath
  • To shower the Indus people stood on a mud brick and poured water on themselves. The dirty water in the houses of Mohenjo-Daro flowed into a drain and into the pipes of the street.
  • Distant trade and trade products
  • People in Mohenjo-Daro never used money they traded goods instead. The Indus people one day found clay and used the clay for seals.
  • The Great bath was where people got clean. The great bath is one of the best known structures in Mohenjo-Daro. The Great bath is acctually very large it is the 12 meters long and 7meters wide.
  • The people from Mohenjo-Daro didnt use money to trade they exchanged goods instead. The end of trade might have actually caused the end to the civilization because without trade there would be less jobs for manufactures and traders.
