3 important scenes
Death ain't nothin'.
TROY: "Death ain't nothing. I done seen him. Done wrestled with him..." (Act I Scene I, pg 10)
ROSE: "Okay Troy... you're right. I'll take care of your baby for you ... cause ... like you say .. she's innocent... From right now .. this child got a mother, but you a womanless man." (Act II, Scene III, pg 79)
Time to Let Go
CORY: "Mama ... I got something to tell you. I don't know how to tell you this ... but I've got to tell you ... I'm not going to Papa's funeral." (Act II, Scene V, pg 96)
Sound effects playing would be the crowd laughing at the exaggeration of Troy telling his story. As this is a laid back kind of scene.
Serious music would be playing as this is a high tension scene and the sounds effect of the crowd would be the "ohhhhhhhh," sound like when somebody gets in trouble after Rose says Troy is a womanless man.
Sad music would be playing because Cory does not want to attend Troy's funeral. There would be no sound effects because this a serious moment with mixed emotions.
