  • Selfless: Katniss puts herself at risk to attempt to save Gale from getting whipped by the new head peace keeper. This is a selfless act because the head peacekeeper pointed his gun to Katniss yet she continued to try to help.
  • Selfless: Katniss puts herself at risk while she tries to stop Gale from being whipped by the new head peace keeper
  • Selfless: During the reaping, when Katniss's sister was chosen, Katniss puts her sister first and volunteered as tribute to save her. This is a selfless act because katniss knows how her sister wouldn't be able to survive in the games so she risks her life to save her sister.

  • Caring: Katniss hunts food for both her mom and sister and also sells food in order to get more. This is a caring act because Katniss could keep all the food for herself because she hunts it herself yet she continues to care for both her mom and sister because they rely on her.
  • Loyalty: Katniss has this personality trait because she is loyal to all her friends and family and is willing to take care of them to the best of her abilities, she would've stayed loyal to Peeta but he betrayed her for The Careers.
  • Bravery: Katniss not only sneaks out of her district to hunt, but she is brave and gets through things within the games. for example, during the time of the games when there was a big forest fire with a lot of smoke, she just tried and tried to stay strong and stay brave, and she did.
  • dedication: katniss has the personality trait because she is dedicated to try her hardest to survive and win.
