When North Korea crosses the 38th parallel with some 75,000 soldiers, the US comes to help South Korea.
Introduction: *The Korean War Between 1950 & 1953 the North Korean Communist army crossed the 38th parallel & invaded non communist South Korea.
*They feared a wider war with China & Russia.
*As far as American officials were concerned it was a war against international communism itself. *American officials worked to agree with North Koreans.
*Korea had been apart of the Japanese Empire. *Russians took the North, Us took the South.
*After WWII Korea was given to Americans & Soviets to decide what should be done with their enemies possessions. *August 1945 two young aids at the state department divide the Korean Peninsula.
