Storyboard Text

  • My name is John Bowdeen. I own this here farm with my family.
  • This farm has been in my family for a couple generations now. We have been taking good care of it. But that was till the Great War happen.
  • As you can see, our barn has been pretty empty. We had to sell much of the live stock to keep the rest of the farm afloat.
  • We used to have a few horses in this stable, but now we only have 1 horse left. Some men apart of the army services came and bought our other horses.
  • My eldest son, who is now in the war, used to play out by this here wind mill all the time. I think about him all the time and how he is. He still hasn't written us a letter. but im willing to wait.
  • It means a lot to me that people still care for each other and are willing to take a little time out of their day to see how someone else is doing. You just head on up to the house and my wifes got some fresh jam waiting for you.
  • I appreciate y'all coming out today and listeing to my story. My farm may not seem like much. But it means the world to me. I just wish my whole family was here.
