This storyboard does not have a description.
My name is Marcu Butnaru and I was born on May 12, 1886 in Romania. I came from a Jewish heritage. I got married at age 23 and had 2 kids, a son and daughter. I followed my father and went into the wine making business.
My son was drafted into the the Romanian army in 1939. In 1941 Romania went to war with the USSR. A stranger came to my door saying the Soviets are going to liberate the Jews, but this was a trap I did't fall for. I was arrest that day by Romanian fascists because they thought I was a communist just because I was Jewish. I was poorly treated and was held as a prisoner to prevent sabotage.
I was liberated by the Soviets in 1944 and lived the rest of my life in Romania.
