  • Feodora is a 12 year-old girl who lives with her mother, Marina, in the snowy wilderness of Russia.  The story takes place 100 years ago when the Tsars still ruled Russia.  They live in a cabin.  There are 4 wolves they befriend that live in a near by church. The leader of the pack is Gray. Marina ia a Wilder who trains wolves on how to live in the wild.  Feo is a wilder in training and is very wild herself. She was rumored to be enchanted because all wolves befriended her.
  • CLIMAX
  • Many people think wolves are a nuisance especially General Rakov of the imperial army.  Everyone fears him because of his power and his violence over the people. He is determined to kill all the wolves. Feo and the wolves must take a journey to save those that Feo loves. Foe makes new friends and inspires them to stand up for what is right.
  • FALLING ACTION
  • Ilya, a 13-year-old boy soldier has been sent to kill wolves. He arrives to Feo's home as Tenderfoot births a new wolf pup. Feo befriends Ilya who can no longer hurt his friends. General Rakov arrests Marina and Tenderfoot is shot dead and White is injured. Feo escapes with the puppy and remaining wolves into the woods. Ilya finds her and they travel to a village. Here they meet a man named Alexia who heals White. The villagers are in awe of Feo for standing up to Radkov. 
  • RESOLUTION
  • Feo and the wolves sneak out of the village to travel to St. Petersburg to rescue her mother. Radkov and 2 soldiers find them. Gray attacks and kills both men and then Radkov kills Gray. Foe is mad and more determined then ever to get revenge on Rakov. They reach an abandoned castle outside of St. Petersburg where Alexia, villagers and children have gathered to help end Rakovs reign of terror. They storm St. Petersburg and fight. The wolves attack Rakov.
  • General Rakov is afraid of the wolves eating him so instead Feo tells him to flee and never come back.  All of the prisoners were released including Marina.  Feo is a hero to the villagers and citizens of St.Petersburg.  She stood up to the most violent man in Russia and inspired them to fight for justice too.
  • Feo and Marina's house was burned down at the beginning of the story so they have no where to go.  They decided to live in the abandoned old castle and continued with training of wolves.  White, Black, and the puppy Lapushka, lived in the castle and the surrounding woods always protecting Feo.
